Week review

The second week has already ended. I still enjoy my language stay and Edinburgh. Although I visited so many places already, there are some interesting places to look at. In school, I make some progress and the teachers are very nice. My classmates are also very nice and helpful. We got three new students on Tuesday. They came on Monday but joined the class on Tuesday. They are the same and fit well in our class. On Friday three students finished their stay. Next week, another classmate is on holiday. That person is in Edinburgh since February and goes to make a week vacation with her family.

For me, Glasgow was a real highlight. More like Glasgow University and the Science Center. However, the architecture of Glasgow is magnificent. My host mother said that you either like Glasgow or you dislike it. The parts of Glasgow we saw were really marvellous.

What I love to do on afternoons, if I don't want to visit any monuments, is to read. I bought that book in a bookshop called Waterstones. That store can be found at Princes Street. The bookstore has three floors filled with books and on the third floor is a café. It's lovely to sit there and read a book or drink hot chocolate. I think reading also benefits my English skills. Sadly, I can only read for two hours because it requires a lot of concentration. Luckily, after a little break, I can read again. I am thinking of buying some more books but I still have so many books to read.

In conclusion, these two weeks were lovely and I enjoy my stay. I am looking forward to the next two weeks and I am excited about the trips and tours that I will be part of.
