The Language stay

 Welcome to my blog. This blog is about my language stay in Edinburgh. I will stay for four weeks in the capital of Scotland and I will upload every week. Now you may be wondering, why do I write this blog? I live in Switzerland and have decided to do my Gymnasium bilingual (German-English). In the bilingual class, a language stay of four weeks at the end of the tenth school year is mandatory. I have chosen Edinburgh because Scotland is said to have beautiful towns and landscapes. The highlands of Scotland are known all around the globe and many movies were filmed there for example, Harry Potter. This was another reason to choose Edinburgh. Not only did J.K. Rowling start writing the books of Harry Potter in the Elephant House in Edinburgh, but also some parts of the movies were filmed in the highlands. 

I will fly on the 23.07.2019 from Basel to Edinburgh. At the end of my language stay my family will pick me up and we will spend another week together travelling Scotland.
